God’s ultimate plan for us is eternal life with Him. What is this world in comparison to eternity? Even though your trials seem endless, this life is just a fleeting glimpse, the blink of an eye, in the timeline of eternity.
Sing it like this, “Joy be to me the Lord has come. I have received my King. This heart of mine has prepared Him room so heaven and earth rejoice, so heaven and earth rejoice with, for I am His forevermore.” Well, you get the idea…
Imagine yourself in one of the driest places on earth. You and your friends are trying to get to a place of plenty. You come to the middle of nowhere and realize that you will never make it to the other side of your barren desert.
Do you like new things? You better because God is going to make all things new. Even you will have a new body. Think about that.
If you find yourself dealing with what David dealt with, then do what David did; repent and ask the Lord to forgive you and to restore to you the joy of salvation. If you know someone who has drifted away from the Lord and gone back into sin, then pray to God for wisdom and go to them.
Do you believe that He cares that much for you? You should, you know. He not only keeps track of all your sorrows; He has collected all your tears that you have shed and recorded each one of them in a book.
