Join us on this very special evening for a Christmas story based on the book of Luke, chapters 1 and 2.
Many stories compete for our attention during the Christmas season, so what’s the first image that comes to your mind when you think of the Christmas story? Maybe it’s the stable with Mary, Joseph, Jesus in the manger, and adoring shepherds there to behold this miracle. Or maybe its just Santa Claus, Rudolph, or your own story of trying to get the you-know-what for so-and-so, etc.
What is the Christmas story in Luke and why is it important?
Luke reminds us that Christmas is part of a larger story that began with Adam, found its pinnacle in Jesus, and continues to this day. So, as many narratives try and grab our attention this holiday season, may we be reminded of the real story and take our place in it.
This is a performance you will only get to see in person, so come early to get a seat. There will be signing, singing, praise dancing, bells, flags and streamers. You don’t want to miss this spectacular event!
