¿Quién me tocó?

Did you know that Satan would like nothing better then to plant an imposter in your midst to draw you away from the truth of God’s Word? It happened in ancient Israel when he filled their land with false prophets.

Watch Your Mouth!

If your parents ever told you to “watch your mouth,” it might have sounded silly at the time but it was good advice. If they ever washed your mouth out with soap there was probably a good reason for it.

Who Touched Me?

When He followed the ruler to his house a crowd of people followed along with Him. If we could imagine the scene it would probably have been chaotic with all the people crowded around Him. No doubt there was a lot of chatter among the people as they excitedly walked to see what would happen at the ruler’s house.

The Tax Man

Keeping Your Faith During The Covid-19 Pandemic

Even when my employer started talking about work from home options and my husband came home from the store talking about people loading carts with water and toilet paper, it still felt distant. The reality hit me a few days later when I went to Walmart for cat food and witnessed the distribution of toilet paper to a long line of customers under the watchful eye a local police officer.  I thought, “Wow.  This is really happening.”

Our Most Recent Sermon ///

This is a picture of a man standing next to a glass of water to measure if it is half way full used for the Half Way Finished Sermon at Life Church at South Mountain

Half Way Finished

This morning Pastor Greg Pratt preaches out of the book of Nehemiah. He shares with the Church that there are times that we can’t get through a project, book or task, but when the Church comes together we can accomplish anything. He reminds us that everyone has a part, and together we can get through by stepping out in faith to get things done.

Lessons I’ve Learned in This Quarantine Time

It is hard for us, or at least me, to realize that I cannot fix everything, or that I am not in charge the circumstances that surround me. The only one that I can control is me. Something good is going to come out of this and God will be glorified through it. That is a choice we make when we walk by faith in the difficulties we must face.
