Celebrating The Harvest

Pastor Greg Pratt

Join us as Pastor Greg Pratt teaches us about what Jesus told his disciples and us about the harvest. It’s time to celebrate the harvest!

Laborers in the Harvest

  1. He called them
  2. He equipped them
  3. He sent them

And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.
Matthew 10:1

After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.
Luke 10:1

Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are  few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.
Luke 10:2-3

A Reason to Celebrate –

Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”
Luke 10:17

Cautions to the Laborers

Don’t let pride cause you to fall.

Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.
Proverbs 16:18

Don’t get bitter when others are blessed.

“But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him.
Luke 15:28

Don’t forget to give God the glory for what He has done! It’s time to celebrate the harvest!
