Pastor Greg Pratt

Join us this morning as Pastor Greg Pratt teaches us about the purpose of the church and how we can share the good news about Jesus Christ!

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
Matthew 16:18

Series Review

What or who is the church Christ promised the gates of hell would not prevail against?

Then we talked about Christ’s message to the church, that He knows our works, He wants to communicate with us, and He promises a reward to those who overcome.

So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
1 Corinthians 3:7

The purpose of the church is to be SALT and LIGHT to a world that needs the message of Christ’s love and concern for each and everyone of them.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:17

We cannot save anyone, but, we are to lead them to the One who can!

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
John 14:6
