Reaching The Harvest

Pastor Greg Pratt

If we are not weeping for the lost in this country, there is something wrong.

There are over 7 billion people on earth, with 300 million alone in the United States. Less than half the people alive claim to be Christian. How do we reach this harvest?

Listen in this morning as Pastor Greg Pratt prefaces his sermon with the words that Jesus spoke in Matthew 9:37,

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.

Pastor Greg teaches us to have compassion for the harvest and do what Jesus did. The Bible instructs us in Matthew 28:16 to fulfill the work of the Great Commission, for we are all God’s workers.

This seems like an impossible task, so where do we even start? First, we must believe and have faith in the God that saved us. Second, start by taking one person and focus on reaching them. Remember, you are not alone in this. Everyone must start by trying to win just one.

The church is not about judgement or condemnation, but for sharing the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. Imagine the gratitude and blessing we will receive for making an impact for the Kingdom of God.

God put us where we are to make a difference! We seriously need to pray that we take the call God has given us to be a blessing to others, and become an effective witness for the message of Jesus Christ.

How many of us know just one person that needs to hear the Gospel?
