Let each one remain in the same calling in which he was called. Were you called while a slave? Do not be concerned about it; but if you can be made free, rather use it.
1 Corinthians  7:20-21

For he who is called in the Lord while a slave is the Lord’s freedman. Likewise he who is called while free is Christ’s slave. 1 Corinthians  7:22

Being Free

Webster’s Definition:

• The quality or state of being free
• The absence of constraint or restraint
• The ability of choice or action

God Created us to Be Free!

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;
Genesis 2:16

Freedom Has Boundaries

but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat,  for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.
Genesis 2:17

The Price of Our Freedom

You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.

Defending Our Freedom

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
