Is there not going to be a time of celebration when the church is caught up to meet the Lord in the air to forever be with the Lord? Let us rejoice now for the good times are closer than when we first started on this journey through life.

Rest assured, when we do not know what is coming next, God knows and He has all situations well in hand.  All that we need to do is follow the Lord’s leading—one step at a time.

When bad news comes, and it will, we can still count on the fact that God is in control.  We can know with great assurance that God has not forsaken us, and that He still loves us and that His grace is sufficient for us.  We can also know that a better day is coming.

I am coming up on my 64th “New Birth,” birthday when I rededicated my life to Christ and He forgave the sins of my youth.  For most of those years I did not think about the importance of the date that Jesus cleansed me from my sins and restored me. I think I should give myself a party for it truly was and is a time of joy.

We should not be shocked by what unbelievers of this world say and do today because they know not the way of truth but we should be, as Ezra was, shocked by what those who call themselves believers do and say.  We should be so embarrassed by it that we blush to lift up our faces to the Lord but we should pray that God will bring them to the place of repentance. 

People who taunt you with their words cannot stop you if you have a mind to work for the Lord, so keep on working and God will reward you in due time and you will be blessed in the process of your work for the Lord. Amen and amen!!
