A Righteous Relationship In God’s Eyes

The Bible says many things about how we are to conduct ourselves regarding our relationships before, during, and after marriage. The Bible commands us to not have relations with sexually immoral people, so if I behave in such a way, would it be only right for a Godly woman to not want to associate with me?

Finding Peace Through Faith

So, the big question here is, why do some of us make it so difficult to live in this world by making poor decisions regarding letting go and letting God do His work in us? The answer is easy in theory, but complicated in implementation – Giving up the power that we innately have in us to control and trusting God to take the lead.

I have been told on more than one occasion that all you have to do is be good and do your best, and you will be invited to share in eternal life.

Spoiler alert – True obedience equals love, and that is what is good enough. Do you have that?

¿Quién me tocó?

Jesús se volvió y vio a la mujer y le dijo: “Ten ánimo, hija; tu fe te ha salvado”. Y la mujer fue salva desde aquella hora.  Que cosa tan poderosa es la fe en Cristo; la tienes, úsala.

Well-Oiled Machine

It doesn’t take long for Satan to try throw a monkey-wrench into the well- oiled machine of the church. Everything can be going along just fine; God will be blessing; souls being saved; people rejoicing; and then BOOM; Satan puts it into someone’s mind that they have been mistreated or some attractive person slips in and says that some biblical teaching is false, etc., etc., etc.

Even The Demons Believed

The Unforgivable Sin

Friend, it is always best to honor God in all that we say and do.  When the Holy Spirit is at work let’s reverently glorify our Lord.  If we keep our heart right, perhaps we will keep our words and actions right. Can you say amen?

Keeping Your Faith During The Covid-19 Pandemic

Even when my employer started talking about work from home options and my husband came home from the store talking about people loading carts with water and toilet paper, it still felt distant. The reality hit me a few days later when I went to Walmart for cat food and witnessed the distribution of toilet paper to a long line of customers under the watchful eye a local police officer.  I thought, “Wow.  This is really happening.”

Lessons I’ve Learned in This Quarantine Time

It is hard for us, or at least me, to realize that I cannot fix everything, or that I am not in charge the circumstances that surround me. The only one that I can control is me. Something good is going to come out of this and God will be glorified through it. That is a choice we make when we walk by faith in the difficulties we must face.

The Meaning of the Cross

Most of us see the cross as an item that represents the symbol for being a Christian. We wear them around our necks and hang them on our walls. Sometimes we put them up in our yards for decoration. I believe the cross should be so much more than jewelry or a piece of art for our walls and yard…

Laborers Needed

How many of you have noticed all the signs around town that say Help Wanted? We are living in a day with a labor shortage. We are living in a day where Christ is suffering from a labor shortage.

This morning, Pastor Greg Pratt talks about the labor shortage for the work that needs to be done for humanity – Covid-19, poverty and hunger, the war declared against Israel, and reaching the lost.

Listen in today as he give us a little food for thought. If a person is hungry, he will work, and if he isn’t, he won’t. Are you hungry?
