Some time ago I was at the pickup window of a fast-food restaurant and as it was the week of Thanksgiving, I asked the girl in the window where she was going to have her Thanksgiving meal. Her curt reply was, “We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving.” My curt response to her curt reply was, “Why, don’t you have anything to be thankful for!?”

“Foot In Mouth” Disease

Have you ever suffered the dreaded “foot in mouth” disease? I sure have. All too many times I have had to eat my words and believe me they were tough to chew, bitter to the taste and were hard to digest. I have said words that I immediately wished I had not said.
