When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increases: but the righteous shall see their fall.
Proverbs 29:16
Greetings in the Name of our wonderful Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to Him be glory, now and forever, amen.
Have you ever seen a time like this? We are seeing the wicked multiplied, but so did our parents, and so did their parents, etc., etc., and etc. In other words, some of the same things that are happening now have been happening since Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit.
Many people praise the wicked and curse the righteous, and that is not new. Some nations exonerate criminals and imprison righteous believers. All the more, the wicked are multiplied and sin and wickedness increases. Remember, God destroyed the wicked with a flood because of wickedness and “violence filled the earth.” Believers should not be surprised or shocked when this happens, because while we slept and our general knowledge of the Word of God decreased and our prayer lives went silent, the arch-enemy of Christ and his imps was always working.
Labeled the “Radical Right”
Prayer and Bible reading was removed from the public schools and we were silent; abortion was deemed legal and we were silent; when believers were labeled the “radical right,” we closed our ranks and cocooned ourselves in our homes and churches. A few spoke up but they were shouted down by those who were the tools of the prince of darkness. However, before we throw up our hands in despair, the story of mankind isn’t over yet because, as our text says, “the righteous shall see their fall.”
In the words of an old song: “There’s a blessed time that’s coming, coming soon; it may be morning, evening or at noon. The wedding the bride, united with the Groom; we shall see the King when He comes.”
There are folks who say that we are fools for believing that Jesus is coming again. Let them say what they will, just keep on believing for the day that is promised by our Lord in His Word will come to pass; just be ready for it—He is coming again. Amen, amen and amen!!!
