What is the problem with religion without Christ in it? Could it be that religious people care about their religion but not about the needs of people?

What is your greater need? Since only you and the Lord know what that is, you will need to take it to the Lord yourself.  When you do, you will find that many of the lesser needs will begin to seem insignificant and they will begin to fade away. 

That is the Word that needs to be preached today. Someone once said, “Jesus came from the uttermost to the guttermost to lift mankind from the gutter to glory.” (The quote may not be exact but you get the message).

We know that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” His compassion did not end there but He lives forever and He continues to intercede for you and me—right now, right where we are and that we must believe. So friend, cast your cares (needs) on Him for He cares for you.

We have all heard people singing heartily to the Lord and others whose lips are moving but there is no sound. Some with beautiful voices and some otherwise. Some who clap their hands so loud that they make the windows rattle (I digress) and others who look like they are patting out biscuits. (I really digress). Is one wrong and the other not? I will let you decide that for yourself.

We are to “give” the LORD the glory that is rightfully His; it is “due” Him. Could it be that if we refuse to “give” to God the glory that is due Him that spiritual power and blessings will be turned off? Again, just asking.
