Do you need food on your table? Get ready to cook for the beans and rice are on the way. Do you need healing for your sore and achy joints? The “balm of Gilead” is with you. Are you confused by the myriad of voices spouting off? There is One who will not confuse you and that is Jesus. For He has the “words of eternal life.”

Children will respect the loving care that their parents give them whether they act like it or not. Parents, don’t give up on your children. Continue to teach them the Word of God. You must, more than counter-balance what the world teaches. Don’t let TV be their teacher. Not everything seen on children’s programs is their ABC’s.

If one wants to empty a church all he/she has to do is preach about holiness or hell. Many people just don’t want to hear the truth. When Jesus said, “You shall know that truth and the truth will set you free,” He was speaking of the whole truth and not just what would “tickle” their ears.

As you pray for someone you care about, don’t be discouraged if this person has not responded to Jesus. The love of Jesus has the ability to move the hardened heart that seems completely unresponsive—like you and I before we surrendered our lives to Him. Amen?

COVID-19 wasn’t supposed to last this long. It was not supposed to be a worldwide pandemic. Millions of people were not supposed to infected by it; but it has, and it did, and it has become wearisome to the spirit.

Perhaps it is time for you to, once again pull on your combat boots, get up, get out and say to yourself like the Psalmist, “Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquieted in me? Hope again in God: for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His presence.” What do you think friend?
