Have you ever thought of what life would be like without light? Have you ever considered what this world would be like if Jesus had never been born? Think about it for a moment—what would it be like?
Christmas is over and New Year’s resolution are already beginning to fade from our hearts and minds. If we are not careful, our focus on Christ will follow the same route. We must instead, follow Jesus’ example and be people of prayer.
Jesus’ life was short and his ministry lasted only 3 years. Yet He accomplished more than any of us ever could. Jesus is the unique God/man. We may not understand that but we will find it to be true if we will but read the Bible. We will find the short span of time from Jesus’ baptism to His ascension to be remarkable. Let’s see if we can take this journey together. We will all be richer by doing so.
There are three major “calls” of God that will come to every individual. There is the “call” to salvation, the “call” to serve Him, and the “call” to one’s eternal home. Everything else that happens in one’s life will depend on how one responds to the first and second “call” of God. The third “call” is determined by how we respond to the first “call.”
What would it take for you to be persuaded that the man of God is of God and speaks the truth? Would you be persuaded if you were in need and your food supply never ran out? Would you have to see a miracle of the restoration of life of a loved one? Is the proclamation of the Word of God not enough for you?
Event updates are sent out weekly on Monday mornings.
