It is not possible for me to fathom God.  I can understand some of what He does but with the limited ability of my mind and the limits of my lifespan I cannot comprehend eternity or God who has no beginning.

Who is it good for if I give thanks to the Lord or sing praises unto Him? Does it make God love me more? Does it build up God’s ego if He has an ego? Is the Psalmist talking about private devotions or public worship? Do you ever ask yourself these questions?

It is out in the field the enemy sets his traps but it also where one is delivered.  It is among the sick and hurting that epidemic diseases stalk the unwary without warning but it is also where the Lord’s protection abides.

Isn’t it great that you can have place that you call home? Some people say that home is where the heart is while others say that home is wherever they can hang their hat. We have a home that waiting for us so, every day, let us continue to be faithful to our Lord and His Word.

People have been looking into the starry night skies for centuries, searching for answers.  They wonder if there is life form somewhere up there.  We could tell them that there is, but they don’t want to believe what we have to say. 

One does not hesitate to stand and applaud when the queen of England enters the room so why should we not, and more so, stand and applaud when our Lord makes His presence, known through the presence of the Holy Spirit?
