The Maze Of This World
Do you remember the time that the Lord saved you from your sins? Do you remember the joy that you had when the burden of sin of was lifted off you and you knew that you were forgiven?
Do you remember the time that the Lord saved you from your sins? Do you remember the joy that you had when the burden of sin of was lifted off you and you knew that you were forgiven?
Don’t deny yourself that which is your birthright as a child of God. Don’t be satisfied with a joyless life. There ought to be in every Christian a deep, settled fullness of the joy of Christ that no circumstance of life can dispel. This joy is unlike any happiness that is produced by the world. It fills you and permeates everything you do.
People died trying to cross “Death Valley” in the summertime because they didn’t have enough water, but all the while there is a raging river of water underground and it was under their feet all the while. You can draw water from the wells of salvation at any time.
One can alienated and still be at home. When one drifts away from the Lord, one can find himself/herself so distant from God that all the joy that they once had is gone. And, such an individual never sees themselves as the one to blame for their spiritual condition. It is always someone else’s fault. If that is you, there is forgiveness and there is restoration!
Now, whosoever the Father calls and whosoever will heed the call can be saved. All this is possible because Jesus came through supernatural conception; lived a natural life and was crucified being the supreme sacrifice for the sins of man and died naturally; and after three days He was resurrected. For nearly two thousand years those three events have shaped the course of humanity. Nothing more, nothing less.
If you have lost the joy of praising the Lord, perhaps you should ask the Lord to show you why. He may reveal to you some hidden sin that is buried deep in your heart that you will need to confess it to Him and be free of it. Then, your guilt will be gone and then He will open your heart to praise Him as you once did.
Event updates are sent out weekly on Monday mornings.
